Will There Be Another Call Of Duty WWII Event

Will There Be Another Call Of Duty WWII Event In 2018

I think that Sledgehammer Games have done a wonderful job in supporting Call Of Duty WWII over the last year. With three DLC packs that gave us a ton of great content and five different events that have all been fun. I think that they have done a great job in not just keeping the game interesting, but also making tweaks to the gameplay to make sure it is great.

With Call Of Duty Black Ops IIII getting closer and closer, you have to wonder if Activision is going to want to keep on promoting Call Of Duty WWII this close to the release. Now granted Call Of Duty games are usually supported for a very long time after release, but I have to think that with Black Ops IIII, Activision is going all in. I say this as this is the first Call Of Duty game not to have a proper single player campaign, but it is also the first to have a Battle Royale mode.

In addition to this, Activision has a ton of competition this October. The main ones, of course, being Battlefield V and Red Dead Redemption 2, but October also sees other major game releases such as Assassin's Creed Odyssey, Soul Calibur VI and WWE 2K19 to name a few. You may wonder what those last three games have to do with a shooter like Black Ops IIII, but these are popular games and most people only have so much money to spend on games so maybe someone will think “ I am going to get WWE 2K19 this October and get Black Ops IIII later” this is bound to happen with some people!

I really hope that we do get at least one more event before Call Of Duty Black Ops IIII is released, but at the same time, I would not be surprised if Activision decided that they wanted Call Of Duty WWII to quiet down a little bit. It would be pretty cool if they decided to throw us a bone by bringing back some of the game modes that were part of the events in the run-up to Black Ops IIII to keep us loyal Call Of Duty WWII fans happy.
