How Many Players Will Call Of Duty Black Ops 4 Battle Royale Support

How Many Players Will Call Of Duty Black Ops 4 Battle Royale Support?

I must admit that over the past weekend I have spent most of my time trying to get as much done in the first week of the Call Of Duty Liberty Strikes as I can. Also, I have been doing some heavy grinding in Overwatch trying to get some loot boxes so I have currency saved up for when Wrecking Ball is released. However, I have been keeping an eye on the Call Of Duty Black Ops 4 news.

Of course, the big thing in Call Of Duty Black Ops 4 this year is Blackout mode which is their take on the very popular Battle Royale formula. While Activision and Treyarch have actually said quite a lot about it. One thing that was not made clear was just how many players Call Of Duty Black Ops 4 Blackout mode would support?

A screenshot of someone playtesting the game has been doing the rounds on social media and it lists the player count as 2 – 60. This is clearly quite a bit less than the 100 than some people were hoping for. Now neither Treyarch or Activision have come out and confirmed if this is the actual official number if 60 is just a placeholder while the game is being worked on or if the screenshot is fake. But the talk online is that it is legit.

I can see why some people would be disappointed if the player count is 60 and not 100. I for one do not mind at all and encourage you to be realistic in regards to Blackout mode. This is the first time Call Of Duty has attempted something like this so the developer must feel more comfortable with this number. They could always expand it at a later date and allow more players per game.
