Will Call Of Duty Black Ops IIII Have Free Map Packs?
The talk is that we can expect one or two new maps added to Call Of Duty Black Ops IIII each month for free. This is something other shooters have done such as Overwatch, PUBG, Star Wars Battlefront II and Titanfall. I think it is a great idea as it will stop the player base from being split into two categories, one that has the map packs and one that does not. If they are free, everyone will have them.
What is interesting though is that it does seem that Zombies is going to have its very own season pass which is kind of interesting. However for the regular multiplayer and their Battle Royale Blackout Mode. Signs point towards these modes giving us new content for free.
A lot of this is speculation, but the listing for that Specialist Edition seemed legit. Every other year when there has been a special edition of Call Of Duty it has come with the season pass as part of its perks. There is no way that Activision would get away with charging what they charge for a special edition that did not contain perks that longtime fans had become accustomed to.
If this turns out to be true, then it is great news. Although, I am very interested to see how much the season pass for Zombies will be as the season passes before have had maps, Zombies, and other stuff. So if the season pass is just for Zombies it surely has to be priced lower right?
